The Patowmack Canal offers a glimpse into the early history of this country. Great Falls Park has many opportunities to explore history and nature, all in a beautiful 800-acre park only 15 miles from the Nation's Capital.

Latin Dance Nights by Maru Montero Dance Company // Columbia Heights' Civic Plaza
The Maru Montero Dance Company, founded by former Ballet Folklorico de Mexico lead dancer Maru Montero in 1992, is a non-profit corporation.

The annual event, sponsored by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and the Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs,  at the Civic Plaza on the corner of 14th Street, Park Road and Kenyon Street, near the Columbia Heights Metro.

With humble roots in Washington D.C., Spread Love has 5 talented musicians who came together in 2014.

The local businesses and neighbors of Adams Morgan have banded together to revive the longest continuing running neighborhood festival in the nation’s capital. The 2015 Adams Morgan Day celebration took place on Sunday, September 13, 2015, along 18th Street and Columbia Road in Adams Morgan.
